Such a hauntingly beautiful song! “A Song For You” is one of those songs that contains that “chill factor” which was so prevalent in Carpenters’ best tunes. The song has it all.. the steamy sax solo, Richard Carpenter’s classic keyboard, the stacked vocals and most of all Karen Carpenter’s rich, deep and dark voice.
