Karen had a great sense of humor…..she loved having fun and it shows. When I think of all the beautiful music her and Richard made….and all the beautiful music that could have been made, it still hurts to know she is gone now 32 years. Her’s was a voice like no other and a talented drummer as Buddy Rich declared, “I could watch Karen play drums all day”…..good enough for me. A talent like hers does not come along often and her voice still has not been matched in my mind…….if only she felt she was good enough as she had a low self esteem (thanks Agnus…..her mother)……..Karen was beautiful, she was a talent unto herself and what bothers me to this day is that she gave so many millions around the world such joy…..too bad she never received as much as she gave. I was listening to Superstar in the firehouse and 4 other guys stopped to look at the computer…….some were too young to remember her but they all said, “Man that girl can sing!”……………some things will never change, if only it could be YESTERDAY ONCE MORE…….love ya baby…….Sleep well Princess!
You said it all perfectly – I think of Karen often and love there music as much today as I did 45 years ago. I will always love Karen and send her flowers often to let her know she is missed.
That second one from the bottom doesn’t even look like Karen. Thank God!
Without a doubt, Karen had comedic timing; she knew how to have fun and easily express herself through her multi-faceted personality.
Karen was definitely a one of a kind…

It’s always fun to see K and R having a good time ‘unplugged!”
Love each and every one of them surely shows Karen and her zest for life. R.I. P. Angel.
I think the “Warning!” should be changed to “Welcome!” These pics are wonderful, hilarious, and beautiful. And I’m glad they’re here.
I love these. I shows her lovely soul. I am glad I discovered Carpenters. Karen’s voice is by far the best voice on earth.
